Electric Power, Built Tough: The 2025 Chevy Silverado EV

Big Battery, Big Power

All trims of the Chevy Silverado EV have a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration. The base WT (Work Truck) trim is the way to go if maximum range is your goal. With the Max Range battery, it can travel almost 500 miles on a single charge. It’s not lacking in power, either: the motors produce 510 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque. When charging, you won’t have to wait long to regain all that range. At Level 3 fast charger adds about 100 miles in just 10 minutes.

The new LT trim increases torque to an impressive 765 lb-ft. At the top of the lineup, the RST trim generates 754 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque in Wide Open Watts mode. This enables a speedy acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Range estimates for the LT and RST sit at 408 to 460 miles with the Max Range battery. These trims can also tow up to 12,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Enhanced by Technology

The Chevy Silverado EVs Google-powered infotainment software provides native access to Google services that are continually updated via over-the-air updates. The WT trim includes an 11-inch center touchscreen and an 8-inch digital driver display. The LT and RST upgrade to a 17-inch center display alongside an 11-inch reconfigurable digital instrument cluster. All displays are compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and RST includes a Head-Up Display.

Super Cruise hands-free driving technology is standard on the RST and available on the LT. It enables hands-free braking, acceleration, lane centering, and automated lane changes on more than 400,000 miles of compatible U.S. highways. It even works when towing a trailer. All trims include a large suite of driver-assistance features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Following Distance Indicator, and Forward Collision Alert.

Maximized Space & Functionality

The Chevy Silverado EV takes advantage of its EV platform to maximize space, offering a completely flat floor across both rows of seating that enhances legroom and cargo space. The cab uses a crew cab layout, which seats five to six passengers. The RST trim has a Multi-Flex Midgate. This partition between the cab and bed can fold down, allowing long items of up to 10 feet 10 inches to fit in the truck. Additional utility is found in the front trunk, which offers waterproof storage.
